Under a new licensing agreement with his publisher, Booktrope, Will North announces that Amazon will shortly take over e-book sales and marketing for his first two novels, The Long Walk Home and Water, Stone, Heart. Of the 300 or so books currently published by Brooktrope, Amazon editors chose only fifteen—two of them his. Print editions will continue to be published and marketed by Booktrope. What’s this mean? Simply that, given Amazon’s marketing muscle, far more readers will learn about his novels.
